Special Education Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialised learning support to pupils across various classes according to identified educational needs.
• Develop and implement appropriate Individual Education Plans (IEPs) where required.
• Support learners with Autism, ADHD and other learning-support needs using appropriate strategies.
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and the Learning Support Unit to provide coordinated support.
• Monitor learner progress and maintain appropriate records of interventions and outcomes.
• Promote an inclusive, respectful and supportive learning environment for all pupils.

Requirements:

• A minimum BEd in Special Education or SEN-related qualification
• A minimum of 2 years of experience
• IEP development, experience with Autism/ADHD/Learning Support Unit collaboration
