Spa Therapist

• Perform professional massage treatments, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone and other specialised massage techniques.
• Deliver body scrubs, exfoliation treatments, facials and other spa therapies.
• Provide hand and foot treatments, waxing and basic beauty treatments where appropriately trained.
• Conduct client consultations to understand treatment preferences, health conditions and individual wellness needs.
• Identify treatment contraindications and ensure appropriate precautions are taken, particularly for pregnancy and specialised therapies.
• Recommend suitable treatments, spa packages and aftercare products.
• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment and supplies to excellent hygiene and presentation standards.
• Manage appointment schedules, maintain treatment records and support smooth daily spa operations.
• Build positive client relationships and encourage repeat visits through outstanding service.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a professional Spa Therapist.
• Formal training or certification in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy or a related discipline.
• Demonstrable proficiency in multiple massage techniques and body treatments.
• Practical knowledge of facials, skincare treatments and appropriate spa products.
• Understanding of human anatomy, massage contraindications and spa hygiene practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver consistent, high-quality treatments.
• Professional appearance, reliability and attention to detail.

Added Advantages:

• Experience in lymphatic drainage massage, Thai massage, Shiatsu or other specialised massage techniques.
• Certification in prenatal massage.
• Experience in waxing, lash and brow treatments.
• Previous experience in a premium spa, resort or wellness centre.
