Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using PHP and related technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, designers, and other developers to analyze requirements and deliver software solutions that meet business needs.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and software development best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects, performance issues, and production incidents promptly.
- Develop and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services to support application functionality and interoperability.
- Participate in code reviews, software testing, deployment, and continuous improvement activities to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of applications.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience as a PHP Software Engineer.
- Experience developing enterprise applications.
- Experience within the power/energy sector is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Java is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in PHP 7+ and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Hands-on experience with Yii1, Yii2, and Laravel.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL and database design.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Experience with MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Solid understanding of SQL optimization and database performance.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular is an advantage).
- Experience using Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs (SOAP knowledge is an added advantage).
- Understanding of secure coding practices and application performance optimization.
- Experience building workflow management applications and enterprise software platforms.
- Familiarity with SaaS application deployment.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
