Role Description:
This is a full-time remote Software Engineer role focused on building and enhancing Growvelt’s AI-powered career and hiring platform. The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs that support features such as job matching, resume analysis, and recruitment workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and scalable code, implementing object-oriented designs, and integrating data and AI services into the platform. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and data teams to refine requirements, improve user experience, and deliver robust solutions. The Software Engineer will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and help improve system performance, reliability, and security.
Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
- Experience in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, working with databases, and integrating services.
- Applied knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Ability to write clean, testable code and work with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with AI/ML-driven products, data-intensive systems, or HRTech platforms is a plus.
