We are seeking a Mid–Mid Senior Software Developer (Microsoft Power Platform Focus) to join our team. This is a remote role focused on building secure, scalable, government-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong focus on Power Apps.
- Design and extend digital planning and building control services used by local councils.
- Develop secure, scalable backend services and integrations using Microsoft Azure.
- Contribute to frontend web applications built with Django.
- Implement authentication and access control using Microsoft Entra / Azure AD, including government login flows.
- Ensure systems meet UK GDPR, data privacy, and security standards.
- Support multi-tenant architectures to enable reuse across multiple councils.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and delivery reviews.
- Collaborate closely with RocketDevs and client stakeholders to deliver features with minimal oversight.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps (mandatory).
- Experience building production-grade applications with complex workflows and integrations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, infrastructure, and deployments.
- Experience with Django or Python-based web applications.
- Understanding of secure authentication and authorization patterns.
- Ability to design scalable systems suitable for multi-client or multi-tenant use.
- Experience working in Agile or sprint-based development environments.
- A deployed project or real-world application demonstrating your ability to ship production software is required.
Nice to Have
- Deeper experience with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Logic Apps).
- Prior experience building government, enterprise, or compliance-heavy systems.
- Familiarity with Power Automate and workflow-driven systems.
- Experience integrating third-party or legacy systems.
- Exposure to low-code / no-code platforms beyond Power Platform.
