The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. This role involves content creation, community management, analytics, and trend monitoring across all social platforms.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Plan monthly content calendars for all platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Stay updated with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.


Content Creation & Publishing:

  • Create engaging content such as graphics, videos, captions, and stories.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, and other creatives to produce high-quality content.
  • Schedule and publish posts consistently across all platforms.


Community Management:

  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong online communities through active engagement.
  • Monitor conversations around the brand and maintain a positive brand image.


Analytics & Performance Tracking:

  • Track key metrics such as engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Use analytics tools to optimize content and improve campaign performance.


Campaigns & Advertising:

  • Plan and run paid social media campaigns when required.
  • Monitor ad performance and adjust for better ROI.
  • Work with marketing teams to support product launches and promotional campaigns.


Collaboration & Brand Alignment:

  • Coordinate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Maintain brand voice, tone, and style across all content.


Requirements:

  • Minimum BSc
  • 4 years of previous work experience in similar role
