Job summary

We are seeking a creative, trendy, and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to manage the digital presence of our Café and Drybar/Hair Extensions Showroom brands. The ideal candidate must be skilled in content creation, content planning, graphic design, video content creation, and social media growth strategies.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
  • Maintain the unique brand identity and voice of each business.
  • Develop and manage content calendars for both brands.
  • Post 4–6 times weekly for each brand across feed and story content.
  • Design flyers and social media graphics using Canva.
  • Edit reels and short-form videos using CapCut.
  • Handle content creation for the hair brand and collaborate with the in-house content team for Mamatcha.
  • Use phone/videography skills to capture engaging content.
  • Understand platform algorithms and run effective social media ads/campaigns.
  • Track social media performance, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Monitor trends and create relevant, engaging content ideas.
  • Communicate professionally with stylists, baristas, clients, and management.
  • Support promotions, launches, collaborations, and brand activations.
  • Be flexible to work weekends when required, as they are peak business periods.


Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in social media management or content creation.
  • Good knowledge of Canva and CapCut.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, trends, and social media algorithms.
  • Basic videography and mobile content creation skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Creative, organized, trendy, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work across both locations in Lekki Phase 1.
  • A portfolio of previous work/content is required.
  • Experience in hospitality, beauty, wellness, fashion, or lifestyle brands is an advantage.
