Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Manager and Content Creator based in Lekki. The role involves planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content for various social media platforms, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics that align with the company’s brand and technology offerings. The Social Media Manager and Content Creator will manage daily social media activities, monitor engagement and trends, respond to comments and messages, optimize company's website and build an active online community. They will develop and execute social media campaigns, optimize content performance using analytics, and collaborate with internal teams to showcase products, services, and customer success stories. The role also includes staying updated on industry and platform trends, maintaining a consistent brand voice, and preparing regular performance reports with recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills, with experience managing brand presence across major platforms.
- Proficiency in Content Strategy and Writing, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and on-brand content for diverse audiences.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts in simple, compelling ways.
- Experience with basic graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe tools, CapCut) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with social media analytics, reporting tools, and data-driven optimization.
- Ability to work on-site in Lekki, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in the tech, renewable energy, or security/automation industry is a plus.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred.
