Job summary
We are seeking an on-site Social Media & Communications Officer for our Port Harcourt headquarters. You will lead our digital presence by capturing raw impact from field projects and converting them into compelling, policy-relevant narratives.

Responsibilities:
- Field & Impact Storytelling: Collate, design, and convert project content from field managers into engaging stories focused on our core thematic areas (Youth & Women Advocacy, Peace Interventions, Goodwill Ambassadors Club, Effective Advocacy Against Drug Abuse and Social Vices for Youth, and WASH programs).
- Multi-Platform Management: Create, curate, and schedule impactful digital content across our primary channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
- Website Assistance: Collaborate with the media team to utilize basic Content Management Systems (CMS) for uploading project articles and impact success stories.
- Community Engagement: Foster online interaction by responding to partner inquiries, donor messages, and youth club updates (e.g., Goodwill Ambassador Clubs) in a highly professional manner.
- Live Event Coverage: Provide real-time multimedia coverage (photography, short-form video hooks) for town halls, workshops, and civic engagement outreaches in Rivers, Lagos, Imo, and Delta States as well as neighboring host communities.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of HND
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar role
