Receptionist

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, enquiries, and reservations.
• Answer telephone calls, respond to messages, and manage bookings.
• Maintain accurate guest records, reservation details, and payment documentation.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
• Handle guest complaints and requests politely and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and attractive reception area.
• Monitor bookings, room availability, and daily front desk activities.
• Protect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality.
• Prepare basic daily reports and carry out other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE; a qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Admin or a related field is an advantage.
• Excellent spoken English and good interpersonal skills.
• A neat, elegant and professional appearance, with good personal hygiene.
• A friendly, confident and welcoming personality.
• Basic computer skills, including email, record-keeping and Microsoft Office
• Good organisational skills, honesty, punctuality and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle guests professionally, including during busy periods.
• Previous experience in a hotel, serviced apartment or customer service role is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
