Responsibilities:
- Drive overall business growth by developing and executing strategies that increase revenue and expand the company’s market presence across retail, wholesale, and distributor channels.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and sales channels that strengthen the company’s competitive position and support long-term expansion.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage distributors while building strong relationships with supermarkets, pharmacies, wellness stores, and other retail partners.
- Monitor distributor and retailer performance to ensure sales targets are achieved, and the company’s products maintain a strong market presence and availability.
- Oversee key aspects of daily business operations, ensuring effective coordination between sales, production, inventory, and logistics.
- Ensure efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment to prevent stock shortages and support consistent product availability.
- Track and analyze financial performance, including revenue growth, operational costs, and profit margins.
- Monitor key business performance indicators such as sales volumes, distributor performance, and inventory turnover.
- Prepare and present regular business performance reports to senior management, providing insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and trade marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and drive sales.
- Contribute to strategic planning by analyzing market trends, monitoring competitors, and identifying opportunities for new products or business expansion.
- Support the development and implementation of business plans that improve operational efficiency, increase profitability, and position the company for long-term growth.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Management, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or MBA is considered an added advantage.
- A minimum of3–7 years of relevant professional experience in business management, sales leadership, operations management, or business development, preferably within the FMCG, food and beverage, retail, or consumer goods industry.
- Proven experience in sales strategy, distribution management, and market expansion, with a strong understanding of how consumer products move through retail, wholesale, and distributor channels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage business operations, inventory coordination, and supply chain activities, ensuring smooth execution across multiple departments.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, track performance metrics, and evaluate business profitability.
- Excellent leadership and people management abilities, including experience supervising teams, coordinating cross-functional departments, and motivating staff to achieve performance targets.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, particularly when dealing with distributors, retail partners, suppliers, and strategic partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, present insights to leadership, and represent the company in professional engagements.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing practical solutions.
