Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor to lead the post-production process for TEDxMaitama talks, interviews, campaigns, social media content, and special projects. This role is ideal for a creative storyteller with excellent technical ability and strong attention to detail—someone who can elevate raw footage into compelling, world-class visual experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the editing of TEDxMaitama speaker talks, ensuring compliance with TEDx production standards.
- Edit interviews, behind-the-scenes content, promotional videos, and campaign stories.
- Craft video narratives that are emotionally engaging, visually polished, and aligned with TEDxMaitama’s brand identity.
- Collaborate with the production team, creative designers, and social media team on content planning and execution.
- Create motion graphics, lower thirds, intros/outros, and branded visual elements.
- Manage color correction, audio balancing, pacing, and final mastering.
- Organize and maintain video asset libraries and project files.
- Provide creative direction and feedback to junior editors and editing volunteers.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality content for events, social media, and partnerships.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional video editing experience (preferably in events, media, or storytelling-driven content).
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience with After Effects or similar motion graphics tools.
- Excellent sense of story, pacing, sound design, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong collaborative skills and willingness to work in a dynamic, impact-driven environment.
- Familiarity with TED/TEDx style of content (a plus).
