Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Consultant with deep expertise in Data Center Modernization, Cloud & Legacy Migrations, Enterprise Architecture, and AI/Data platforms. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic advisor and hands-on leader, driving complex transformation programs, modernizing IT landscapes, and enabling data-driven and AI-powered enterprises.

This role requires strong consulting acumen, stakeholder management at C-level, and the ability to bridge business objectives with technology execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Advisory & Enterprise Architecture

• Lead enterprise architecture initiatives aligned with business strategy and digital transformation goals
• Define target state architectures across infrastructure, applications, data, and AI platforms
• Develop roadmaps for modernization, cloud adoption, and AI enablement
• Establish architecture governance, standards, and best practices (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.)
• Engage with C-level stakeholders to drive IT strategy and transformation vision

2. Data Center Modernization & Cloud Transformation

• Assess existing data center environments (compute, storage, network, virtualization)
• Define and execute modernization strategies including:
• Hybrid cloud adoption (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI)
• Software-defined data centers (SDDC)
• Lead consolidation, optimization, and cost reduction initiatives
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resiliency architectures

3. Migration Leadership (Cloud & Infrastructure)

• Design and execute large-scale DC and cloud migration programs:
• Lift-and-shift, re-platform, and re-architect strategies
• Lead application and workload migration planning, execution, and validation
• Mitigate migration risks including downtime, data loss, and performance issues
• Utilize migration tools and frameworks (e.g., Azure Migrate, VMware HCX, AWS Migration Hub)

5. Technology Leadership & Delivery

• Lead cross-functional teams (solution architects, engineers, vendors)
• Provide technical oversight across multiple transformation programs
• Ensure adherence to best practices for security, compliance, and performance
• Conduct architecture reviews, design validations, and technical audits

6. Client Engagement & Consulting

• Act as trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design discussions
• Develop proposals, RFP responses, and transformation blueprints
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

• 15+ years of IT experience with:
• Strong background in data center infrastructure and operations
• Proven experience in enterprise architecture and large-scale transformations
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud migrations and modernization programs
• Hands-on experience with AI, data platforms, and analytics ecosystems

Core Technical Skills

• Data Center Technologies: VMware, Hyper-V, storage systems, networking, HCI
• Architecture frameworks: TOGAF, ArchiMate
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP is a plus
• Data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Hadoop ecosystem is a plus
• AI/ML tools: Python, TensorFlow, Azure AI, ML platforms
• Integration & APIs: REST, Microservices, Event-driven architectures
• Security & compliance frameworks
