Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Design and optimize database schemas in MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend and DevOps.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and MVC architecture.
- Strong experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Git, Composer, and API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, etc.).
- Good grasp of OOP, SOLID principles, and general web security standards.
- Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Experience with Docker or containerized environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Exposure to front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
- Understanding of Linux environments and Nginx/Apache configuration.
- Basic knowledge of testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest).
