Job Summary

We need a Senior Sales Executive or Engineer (SSE) to lead the business development and sales of power generation solutions and products to current and potential customers. The candidate will help to analyse the needs of customers, research the market and present products or services to potential customers in a professional manner.

  • Minimum Qualification: HND
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 3 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Gathering market and customer information to figure out the customer needs
  • Securing supplier registration of Tungsten by customers
  • Developing solutions and products for customers in liaison with Engineering teams
  • Carrying our customer needs analysis and requirements gathering
  • Acting as a point of contact between customers and Tungsten Energy
  • Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers
  • Responding to customer queries and resolving their objections to get them to make a purchase
  • Advising product and service developers on improvements to include in forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
  • Creating proposal documents as part of the formal bidding and/or procurement procedure
  • Inspecting inventory in stock and the quality of the product on display
  • Providing customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations
  • Liaising with OEMs and Tungsten’s suppliers in pricing and sales
  • Supporting Project Director in coordinating after sales support and services
  • Carrying out costing of products and services


Requirements:

  • HND or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least second class upper
  • Minimum of 3 years experience and ideally five years of experience in sales and management, public relations, retail marketing and other related positions in a commercial industry.
  • A candidate with knowledge of science and engineering or have worked in an Engineering company will be preferred.
  • Candidates who have worked directly with customers and in sales departments have a better chance of succeeding in the role, hence preferred.
  • Experience in public speaking, negotiation, CRM systems or social media marketing are also be beneficial.
