Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Product Manager role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Senior Product Manager will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and definition through delivery and iteration, for digital products serving global and regional markets. Responsibilities include conducting market and user research, defining product vision and strategy, prioritizing roadmaps, and translating business needs into clear requirements and user stories. The person in this role will collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality product releases and measurable impact. The Senior Product Manager will monitor product performance, gather feedback, run experiments, and drive continuous improvement, while mentoring junior product professionals and contributing to product best practices across Labs by Semicolon.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in product management, including leading end-to-end product development for digital products in technology-focused environments.
• Strong skills in product discovery, user research, and requirements gathering, with the ability to translate insights into clear product specifications and roadmaps.
• Demonstrated expertise in agile and lean product development practices, including backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative release cycles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data, business development) and manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort with product analytics, A/B testing, and using data to inform decisions.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and documentation abilities, with a focus on clarity, alignment, and influencing without authority.
• Experience working in or with sectors such as fintech, edtech, healthtech, logistics, or related domains is highly desirable.
• Background in building products for African and/or global markets, including understanding of market dynamics, user behavior, and regulatory considerations, is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Design, or related discipline); advanced degree.

We want adaptable PMs who learn fast, understand complex systems, spot patterns, and create value in any domain.
