Responsibilities:
Security Solution Design & Implementation:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Palo Alto Networks security solutions for enterprise and service
- provider environments.
- Develop secure network architectures and segmentation strategies.
- Design and implement advanced security policies, threat prevention controls, and access
- management solutions.
- Lead firewall migration, upgrade, and optimization projects.
- Provide technical recommendations and best practices for cybersecurity initiatives.
Security Operations & Administration:
Administer and support Palo Alto Networks solutions including:
- Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
- Panorama
- GlobalProtect
- Threat Prevention
- URL Filtering
- WildFire
- DNS Security
- Data Filtering
- User-ID and App-ID Technologies
- Monitor and maintain the availability, performance, and security of firewall infrastructures. Perform advanced troubleshooting of network and security incidents.
- Act as the primary escalation point for Palo Alto-related issues.
- Incident Response & Security Management
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and threats.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.
- Participate in cyber incident response and recovery efforts.
- Assist in threat hunting and proactive security monitoring activities.
Project Leadership:
- Lead security implementation and transformation projects.
- Develop project plans, implementation methodologies, and migration strategies.
- Coordinate activities with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
Governance, Risk & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
- Support compliance initiatives related to industry and regulatory frameworks.
- Develop and maintain security documentation and standards.
Automation & Optimization:
- Develop automation solutions for firewall administration and reporting.
- Utilize APIs and scripting tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the security environment.
Leadership & Mentorship:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Junior and Intermediate Engineers.
- Review configurations, security policies, and technical designs.
- Conduct technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Support talent development and certification programs.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain:
- Security architecture documents
- Standard operating procedures
Incident reports:
- Risk assessments o Technical implementation guides
- Provide management reports and technical recommendations.

- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)
- Cisco CCNP Security
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Microsoft or AWS Security Certifications
- Experience
- Years of experience in networking and cybersecurity.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing Palo Alto Networks solutions.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale security projects.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
- Experience working with financial institutions, telecommunications, government, or large
- enterprise environments is an advantage.

- Assist in the development of cybersecurity service offerings, technical standards, and best practices.
- Represent the organization in engagements with customers, vendors, auditors, and regulatory
- bodies when required.
