Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Operations Manager at Black Pride YYC. The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with the organization's mission and strategic goals. Responsibilities include managing resources, coordinating team activities, supporting program implementation, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and best practices.

The role also involves fostering a collaborative environment, maintaining regular communication with team members, and identifying opportunities for organizational improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, project management, and resource allocation skills

• Experience in team leadership, coordination, and fostering collaboration

• Knowledge in financial management, including budget monitoring and resource planning

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities

• Understanding of advocacy, inclusivity practices, and equity-tocused organizational building

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Passionate about issues related to social justice, diversity, and community development

• Experience working in or with Black and/or 2SLGBTQ+ communities is a significant asset
