Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and security issues
- Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Implement and maintain network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
- Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and capacity expansion
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration backups
- Collaborate with IT teams on disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and data protection regulations
- Provide 3rd-level technical support and escalation management
- Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and vendors
- Manage relationships with ISPs and network hardware vendors
- Mentor junior network/IT staff
- Experience with Cisco or similar enterprise networking equipment
- Proficiency in network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS
- CCNP/CCNA required; CCIE, JNCIP, or CompTIA Network+ an advantage
