Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure enterprise firewalls, core and access switches, routing and wireless infrastructure.
- Implement network segmentation, access controls and secure administration in line with approved designs.
- Configure SD-WAN, secure VPN connectivity and resilient connectivity across service providers.
- Apply network access protection, QoS and multicast controls, including 802.1X, DHCP snooping, dynamic ARP inspection and IGMP where required.
- Integrate network and security telemetry with monitoring systems; investigate faults and security events.
- Test failover, throughput and security controls; maintain firmware, configuration backups, diagrams and change records.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of enterprise networking and network-security experience.
- Proven configuration of next-generation firewalls, redundant switching and resilient network connectivity.
- Strong routing, VLAN, VPN, SD-WAN, QoS, wireless and multicast knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity and security issues across enterprise environments.
- Clear technical documentation and disciplined change, access and incident management.
