We’re looking for a Senior .NET/C# Backend Engineer who can architect elegant systems, write strong business logic, build complex algorithms, and deliver highly scalable backend services.

Responsibilities:

As our Senior .NET C# Engineer you will:

• Build and maintain large-scale backend services using .NET/C#, optimized for speed, resilience, and clean architecture.
• Design microservices that handle millions of daily requests with high availability, observability, fault tolerance, and structured telemetry.
• Write complex algorithms and advanced business logic for pricing, escrow workflows, fraud detection, delivery routing, search ranking, and seller scoring.
• Architect efficient storage + messaging systems using SQL/MongoDB and RabbitMQ/Kafka/SQS.
• Lead end-to-end integrations with third-party APIs (payments, identity verification, logistics, etc.) including fallback strategies, schema evolution, and monitoring.
• Fine-tune Elasticsearch indexes and relevance scoring to deliver ultra-fast, accurate search.
• Work closely with Product, DevOps, and Data teams to translate requirements into robust engineering solutions.
• Embed AI-powered intelligence into recommendations, anomaly detection, and search ranking.
• Implement industry-grade security practices: PCI-DSS, encryption, RBAC, audit logging, and secure coding.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of hands‑on professional experience building and maintaining enterprise‑grade backend systems, preferably in high‑growth or startup environments.

Technical Requirements:

• Expertise in .NET and C# development
• Direct, hands-on experience building payments and escrow systems (mandatory) - Payment authorization & capture, Wallet flows, Payment holds, Release logic, Refunds & disputes, Settlement & reconciliation.
• Strong ability to write clean, scalable business logic and complex algorithms.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture
• Practical experience with ElasticSearch and RabbitMQ
• Proficient in building and consuming REST APIs
• Solid background in SQL databases
• Solid understanding of API security, CI/CD, and cloud-native architecture.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB and Redis

Domain Knowledge:

Experience in Fintech solutions and workflows

• Understanding of common financial data models, reconciliation processes, and regulatory considerations in digital finance.

Experience with Payment Systems

• Practical exposure to transaction lifecycles, wallet architectures, settlements, chargebacks, and PCI‑DSS requirements.

Integration experience with third‑party services/APIs

• Skilled at wiring up external providers (payment gateways, KYC/identity checks, notification services), handling retries, rate limits, and secure credential management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Back-End Development
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with .Net technologies and C# language
• Ability to work in a hybrid work environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
