Senior Maintenance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily maintenance and smooth operation of all hotel facilities (rooms, public areas, kitchen, laundry, bar, restaurant, and utilities)
  
• Ensure all equipment and systems are fully functional to support uninterrupted hotel operations and guest satisfaction
  
• Conduct regular inspections to identify faults, risks, and maintenance needs
  
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all hotel assets
  
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from guests and departments
  
• Supervise renovation, repair, and improvement projects
• Manage all technical systems, including: Electrical installations and power distribution, Generator operations, servicing, and fuel management, Plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, and boreholes, HVAC systems, air conditioning, cold rooms, and refrigeration, Minor civil works (painting, carpentry, tiling, welding, repairs)
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff, artisans, and external contractors
  
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of work
  
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with hotel safety policies
  
• Maintain fire safety systems, emergency equipment, and hazard prevention measures
• Manage maintenance inventory, tools, spare parts, and service records
  
• Control maintenance costs while ensuring operational efficiency
  
• Liaise with vendors and contractors for procurement and technical support
• Prepare maintenance reports and keep proper documentation of all activities
  
• Support management during inspections, audits, and facility assessments

Requirements:

• Must have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and hands-on experience across all key engineering systems
  
• Ability to work under pressure in a 24-hour hotel environment, including weekends and emergencies
