Job descriptions & requirements

You're the engineer who restores order to 50+ SaaS products when others are still diagnosing. We need DevOps professionals who can enter unknown AWS environments, restore stability, and drive uptime beyond 99.9% through disciplined monitoring, automation, and root cause analysis. You'll break down complex projects into daily deliverables, deploy production-ready Python or JavaScript, and leverage AI as a force multiplier.
While most organizations claim cloud maturity but still manage infrastructure manually, we're systematizing reliability across a portfolio of acquired products—often with departed creators and incomplete documentation. The challenge is rewarding: you'll deploy agents and contemporary tooling to understand unfamiliar systems 5–10x faster, document your discoveries, and automate solutions to eliminate recurring failures. Rather than assess you on certifications and buzzwords, we'll observe how you debug in real time, author a genuine 5-Whys that identifies a single preventable cause, and construct automations resilient enough for production.
This is not a tier-two "execute the runbook" position. Here, you author the runbooks, architect the deployment path from development through staging to gradual rollout with soak periods and rollback criteria, and construct the monitoring that detects corner cases. You block risky changes before deployment. You distinguish infrastructure failures under your purview from application bugs owned by Engineering, and you route permanent remediation to the appropriate owner.
You'll operate at the engineering center of reliability, responsible for infrastructure initiatives, incident triage and RCAs, and change requests supported by executable documentation. If you've already shepherded a substantial SaaS platform and want to apply that expertise across a fleet, this is your opportunity. Bring advanced AWS knowledge, production-quality coding ability, disciplined scope management, and daily, mission-critical use of AI tooling. If you're prepared to maintain operational continuity, please apply.
What You Will Be Doing

  • Executing sophisticated infrastructure migrations, consolidations, production-grade automation, and monitoring enhancements
  • Diagnosing production incidents, deploying immediate remediation, and authoring root cause analyses with permanent solutions assigned to accountable teams
  • Authoring, reviewing, and deploying production changes, including assessing the safety and viability of proposed modifications

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Spending your time in ticket trackers and recurring status calls - we prize engineers who deliver solutions, not just document issues
  • Keeping legacy systems on life support indefinitely - you'll be authorized to pursue substantial improvements
  • Waiting for bureaucratic sign-off chains - you'll possess the authority to deploy immediate fixes during incidents

Senior DevOps Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Advance reliability and standardization of cloud infrastructure across our expanding product portfolio through robust monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices.

Basic Requirements

  • Deep AWS infrastructure expertise (this is our primary platform - other cloud experience alone won't cut it)
  • Experience owning large production infrastructure and troubleshooting production outages independently (not just following a runbook)
  • Experience scripting with Python and Bash for day-to-day administration operations
  • Experience managing and migrating production databases with multiple engines (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL)
  • Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
  • Linux systems administration expertise
