We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Audit Associate to join our Audit & Assurance unit. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of international standards, and proven experience in delivering high-quality audit services.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, execute, and supervise audit engagements, including risk assessment, development of audit programs, and allocation of tasks to junior team members.
- Perform and review substantive testing, analytical procedures, and controls testing across assigned audit areas, ensuring sufficient and appropriate audit evidence is obtained.
- Prepare and review audit working papers, ensuring they are complete, accurate and compliant with firm methodology and ISA requirements.
- Identify and document accounting, control, and compliance issues, and discuss findings with clients and engagement leadership professionally and constructively.
- Draft sections of audit reports, management letters and financial statements for review by the Audit Manager/Partner.
- Supervise, coach, and review the work of Audit Associates and trainees on the engagement, providing on-the-job training and constructive feedback.
- Monitor engagement timelines and budgets, escalating scope or resourcing issues promptly to the Audit Manager.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable accounting standards (IFRS), auditing standards (ISA), and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain professional working relationships with client staff during fieldwork.
- Comply with the firm's quality control, independence, and confidentiality policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in an audit firm
- Professional certification (ACA/ACCA) is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Auditing Standards (IAS)
- Familiarity with automated audit software is mandatory (CaseWare preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
