Security Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of all security guards across assigned locations or shifts.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate guard coverage at all times.
• Monitor surveillance systems, access control systems, and alarm systems.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms; escalate issues as appropriate.
• Investigate security breaches, accidents, or unusual incidents and submit detailed reports.
• Train new security personnel on company policies, emergency procedures, and job expectations.
• Liaise with clients, management, law enforcement, or emergency responders when required.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, shift reports, and guard attendance.
  
• Ensure security personnel maintain proper discipline, grooming, and professional conduct.

Requirements:

• HND/Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory
• Security certifications or training from recognized institutions (NSCDC, DSS, or private security training).
• Experience working in facility management, corporate, or residential environments role.
• Good understanding of security operations, surveillance techniques, and emergency response.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
• Proficiency in report writing and basic computer applications.
