Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer with a proven track record in safeguarding large premises. Skilled in conducting regular patrols, managing entry points, monitoring CCTV, and responding effectively to emergencies while maintaining a professional and secure environment.

Working Hours : Rotating Schedule

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Maintain order and safety in and around the company premises
Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols
Control access points and ensure only authorized persons enter restricted areas
Verify identification and credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors.
Prevent theft, pilferage, and damage to company property
Patrol premises regularly to identify and address risks
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or unusual activity
Enforce company security procedures and report breaches immediately
Document and report all security incidents, breaches, and hazards to the management.
Conduct routine inspections of the premises, including locks, windows, and equipment, to ensure everything is secure.
Greet and assist employees and visitors with a professional and friendly behavior.

Requirements:

Minimum of OND or SSCE.
High level of personal integrity, honesty, and discipline
Prior experience in a similar role is an added advantage
Strong physical appearance with stamina for standing, patrolling, and handling security duties
Alert, reliable, and observant with good reporting skills
Able to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Good communication skills and team spirit
Must be resident in Enugu.
