Security Guards

Responsibilities:

• Provide security services at assigned client locations.
• Patrol premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
• Monitor and control access points; verify visitors and maintain entry/exit records.
• Protect clients’ property, staff, and visitors from theft, vandalism, and other risks.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
• Prepare and submit daily incident and activity reports.
• Enforce company and client security policies at all times.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorised activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and security systems.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and client representatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE qualification (WAEC/NECO or equivalent).
  
• Previous experience in security services is an advantage.
  
• Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods.
  
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good communication skills (spoken and written).
  
• High level of integrity, discipline, and professionalism.
  
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately to emergencies.
  
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  
• Must be reliable and punctual.
  
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and use of security equipment is an added advantage.
