Job summary
We are a professional security services company seeking disciplined and reliable Security Guards for deployment to various client locations. The successful candidates will be responsible for protecting clients’ properties, personnel, and assets while maintaining a high standard of professionalism at all times.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide security services at assigned client locations.
- Patrol premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
- Monitor and control access points; verify visitors and maintain entry/exit records.
- Protect clients’ property, staff, and visitors from theft, vandalism, and other risks.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
- Prepare and submit daily incident and activity reports.
- Enforce company and client security policies at all times.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorised activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and security systems.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and client representatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE qualification (WAEC/NECO or equivalent).
- Previous experience in security services is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills (spoken and written).
- High level of integrity, discipline, and professionalism.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and use of security equipment is an added advantage.
