Responsibilities:
- Guard and patrol assigned premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verifying the identity of visitors and staff.
- Conduct regular security patrols and inspect buildings, gates, and surrounding areas.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, security breaches, alarms, and incidents.
- Prepare accurate daily occurrence and incident reports.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems where applicable.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures.
- Assist visitors by providing directions and maintaining order on the premises.
- Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to management.
- Work collaboratively with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
Requirements:
- No qualification required
- Previous experience as a security guard is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Honest, disciplined, and dependable.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Must reside in Onike, Yaba, or nearby areas for easy access to the workplace.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
