The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, ironing, folding, sorting, and properly storing hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other approved laundry items while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and count soiled linen, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, irons, pressing machines, and other laundry equipment safely.
- Use detergents and cleaning products correctly according to instructions.
- Inspect laundry before and after washing for stains, damage, or missing items.
- Iron, fold, package, and arrange clean items neatly.
- Deliver clean linen and uniforms to the appropriate departments.
- Keep the laundry area, equipment, and work surfaces clean and organized.
- Report damaged equipment, stained or damaged linen, and shortages to the supervisor.
- Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and infection prevention procedures.
- Maintain proper records of laundry received, processed, and issued.
- Handle guests' laundry or other assigned items carefully and confidentially.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience
- A minimum of a degree in a related field
