Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Security Education lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Teach students about personal safety, security awareness, emergency response, and responsible citizenship.
- Educate students on how to identify and respond appropriately to potential risks.
- Promote awareness of safety procedures within and outside the school environment.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and examination materials.
- Assess students’ understanding and academic progress.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Participate in school safety programmes and activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Education, Security Studies, Criminology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Knowledge of security and safety principles.
- Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
- Responsible and professional approach to working with students.
- Ability to explain safety and security concepts in an age-appropriate manner.
- TRCN certification is an advantage.
