Security Officer

Responsibilities:

• Protect company premises, employees, visitors, and assets from theft, damage, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to ensure only authorized persons gain access.
• Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify and address security risks.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems where applicable.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, accidents, and security incidents.
• Prepare accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Enforce company security policies and procedures.
• Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries.
• Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or breaches to management immediately.
• Work collaboratively with law enforcement and emergency services when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an SSCE certificate 
• Previous experience in a security role is preferred.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
• Strong observation and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergencies.
• High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.
• No criminal record and must be of good character.
