Subject Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English in line with the approved curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials.
• Assess, evaluate, and monitor students' academic progress.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Provide academic guidance and support to students.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents on students' academic progress when required.
• Perform other teaching-related duties assigned by the school management.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a relevant discipline (B.Ed., B.Sc./B.A. with PGDE).
• A minimum of 2-3 years teaching experience in a secondary school.
• Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage.

Skills and Competences:

• Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Good lesson planning and assessment skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic educational technology.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for teaching and student development.

Location: Applicants must live within the Egbe Idimu, Ikotun, Egbeda, Ejigbo, Igando, or Alimosho axis.

Remuneration: NGN 70,000 - 100,000 Monthly
