Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the school library, including cataloguing and stock control
- Assist students and staff in locating and accessing print and digital resources
- Promote reading culture through structured reading programmes and initiatives
- Supervise students during library periods and maintain an orderly environment
- Recommend, acquire, and curate relevant books and learning materials
- Collaborate with academic staff to align library resources with the curriculum
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Management, or a
- related field
- Previous experience in a school library setting is an added advantage
- Familiarity with library management software and digital cataloguing systems
- Strong organisational skills and genuine love for books and learning
- Good communication skills and ability to engage students across different ages
