Job Summary

FMR Agency is looking for an experienced and motivated Salon Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our client salon. The Salon Supervisor will ensure that the salon runs smoothly, clients are satisfied, and team members are supported in delivering high-quality services. This role involves a mix of hands-on customer service, staff management, and administrative duties

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Supervise and support a team of stylists, colorists, and other salon staff. Provide guidance, training, and feedback to ensure high standards of service and professional development.
  • Customer Service: Greet clients, manage appointments, and ensure that all clients receive excellent service. Handle any client concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Sales & Promotion: Encourage retail sales of salon products by educating clients and staff on their benefits. Monitor and achieve sales targets for services and products.
  • Scheduling & Staffing: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during salon hours. Handle time-off requests and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of salon products and supplies. Order and restock items as necessary to ensure that the salon is well-equipped.
  • Financial Management: Assist with daily financial tasks such as processing payments, managing cash flow, and preparing financial reports. Ensure that all transactions are handled accurately.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure that the salon complies with health and safety regulations, including sanitation standards. Oversee regular cleaning and maintenance of the salon.
  • Marketing & Client Retention: Work with management to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Track client satisfaction and develop initiatives to improve customer loyalty.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on salon performance, including sales, client feedback, and staff performance. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.


Requirements:

  • OND or equivalent required; additional certification in cosmetology or business management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a salon environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in salon management software and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
  • Knowledge of current beauty trends, products, and techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.


Location: Ikeja, Lagos State.

Remuneration: NGN 80,000  

Working Days: Monday - Saturday
