Sales Executive
Job summary
The Sales Executive will be responsible for converting inbound inquiries, proactively generating new business opportunities, and ensuring a seamless transition from sales to service delivery. This role works closely with the Operations Manager and the Learning Experience Team to ensure new clients are onboarded smoothly and efficiently.
Job descriptions & requirements
Inbound Sales
- Respond promptly to inbound leads from WhatsApp, email, website inquiries, and social media
- Qualify leads and recommend appropriate tutoring programs based on client needs
- Conduct phone and virtual consultations with parents, students, and institutions
- Follow up consistently on warm leads to drive conversions
Outbound Sales
- Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients, schools, and partner organizations
- Build and manage a strong outbound sales pipeline
- Execute outreach campaigns aligned with company growth targets
CRM & Sales Operations
- Accurately log all leads, interactions, and deals in the CRM system
- Track lead stages, follow-ups, and conversions
- Maintain organised and up-to-date sales records
- Provide regular performance and pipeline updates to the Operations Manager
Client Onboarding & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Learning Experience Team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Clearly hand over client details, expectations, and requirements post-sale
- Support a positive client experience from first contact through service launch
- Assist in identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
- Post-secondary education: BSc, ND, or HND from a recognised institution
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and personal laptop
- Proficiency with a CRM system (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar) (Preferred)
- Prior experience teaching, tutoring, or working with an educational organisation (an asset, not required) (Preferred)
- Experience selling services rather than physical products (Preferred)
- Exposure to remote or international sales environments (Preferred)
