Sales Representative and Customer Service Officer
Job summary
We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused, and results-driven Sales Representative / Customer Service Officer to join our Lagos team. This person will be the first point of contact for our customers — handling enquiries, driving sales conversions, processing orders, and ensuring every customer has an excellent experience from first contact

Responsibilities:
- Attend to walk-in customers at the Lagos store and guide them to the right products based on their health needs
- Handle inbound sales enquiries via WhatsApp, phone calls, and email promptly and professionally
- Convert enquiries into confirmed orders by clearly communicating product benefits, pricing, and delivery options
- Follow up on pending orders, abandoned enquiries, and repeat customer opportunities
- Meet monthly sales targets set by management
- Upsell and cross-sell complementary products where appropriate
- Respond to all customer messages and calls within agreed response timeframes
- Resolve order-related complaints, delivery issues, and product queries efficiently and courteously
- Coordinate with the procurement and logistics team to provide accurate order updates to customers
- Collect and record customer feedback to inform product and service improvements
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable tone across all customer interactions
- Build and maintain relationships with repeat customers to encourage loyalty and referrals
- Record all sales transactions accurately in the company's point-of-sale and order management system
- Maintain an up-to-date customer enquiry and sales log
- Assist with basic stock checks and notify management of low-stock situations on high-demand products
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in any relevant field
- Additional certification in sales, marketing, or customer service is an advantage
- Minimum of 3 year experience in a sales, retail, or customer service role
- Experience in a health, pharmacy, wellness, or FMCG retail environment is a strong advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Confident, persuasive, and professional telephone and WhatsApp manner
- Strong ability to explain product benefits clearly to customers with no health background
- High level of honesty, integrity, and discretion — we deal with health-sensitive information
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable using WhatsApp Business, basic spreadsheets, and mobile POS tools
- Willingness to learn about health supplements and natural wellness products
- Must reside in Ikeja or nearby areas such as Ogba, Agege, Ojodu, Berger, Maryland, Alausa, Oregun, or Isolo — maximum 30 minutes commute to our Ikeja office
