Job summary

A Sales & Operations Manager oversees both the revenue-generating activities (sales) and the day-to-day operational processes of a business. Their role ensures that sales targets are achieved while operations run efficiently to deliver products or services to customers.

Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet company revenue goals.
  • Set sales targets for the team and monitor performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management.


Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily business operations to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Manage inventory, logistics, and supply chain processes
  • Ensure quality control and timely delivery of products/services.
  • Improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with departments such as production, finance, and customer service.


Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise sales and operations staff.
  • Set performance goals and conduct staff evaluations.
  • Motivate teams to achieve sales and operational targets.
  • Resolve internal conflicts and promote teamwork.


Financial & Performance Management:

  • Monitor sales performance and operational costs.
  • Prepare budgets and financial reports.
  • Analyze sales data and operational metrics to support decision-making.
  • Ensure activities align with company profitability goals.


Customer Satisfaction:

  • Ensure customers receive excellent service and timely delivery.
  • Handle major customer complaints or service issues.
  • Work on strategies to improve customer retention and loyalty.


Compliance & Policy Implementation:

  • Ensure all operations comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Minimum of a BSc.
