Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Design and implement a cohesive sales and marketing plan to achieve company revenue targets and re-establish market share.
- Corporate Catering Sales (B2B):
- Identify, target, and secure new corporate clients for our catering services.
- Systematically re-engage past clients to rebuild relationships and restore business.
- Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage key client accounts.
- Retail Channel Management (Plantain Chips):
- Manage and expand relationships with existing supermarket partners and distributors.
- Identify and secure new retail channels and points of sale for our products.
- Develop and execute trade marketing initiatives to increase in-store visibility and sales velocity.
- Marketing and Brand Management:
- Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including managing the company's social media presence (@titoschops), email campaigns, and website content.
- Develop marketing collateral, including brochures, sales presentations, and product catalogs.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Performance and Reporting:
- Establish sales targets and monitor performance against key metrics.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and marketing campaign results to the General Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in a sales and marketing role, with at least two (2) years in a management or supervisory capacity.
- Direct experience in the FMCG, food & beverage, hospitality, or corporate catering industry in Nigeria is essential.
- Demonstrable experience in both B2B corporate sales and B2B retail channel/distributor management is a primary requirement for this role.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a challenging market.
- Experience in a turnaround, restructuring, or brand relaunch environment will be a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and digital marketing tools.
