Our client, a leading agro-business specializing in grains, premium bagged rice, and other agro-based products, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead its sales growth and market expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, strengthen market presence, and lead field sales operations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement practical, result-oriented sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Design and execute effective route-to-market strategies across key sales channels.
- Lead and coordinate field sales activities and open market sales campaigns.
- Build strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and key players within open markets to drive product distribution.
- Drive customer acquisition across supermarkets, hypermarkets, and HORECA channels, securing customers with consistent monthly purchase volumes.
- Manage and optimize monthly sales and marketing budgets for maximum impact and efficiency.
- Supervise and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve monthly sales targets and performance objectives.
- Prepare and submit periodic sales and marketing performance reports.
- Identify and penetrate new markets to expand the company’s customer and distributor base.
Requirements:
- B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years’ relevant sales experience within the FMCG, beverage, or confectionery industry.
- Strong field sales experience with the ability to actively drive open market engagement and business development.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Sound knowledge of FMCG sales, product marketing, and route-to-market strategies.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and organizational capabilities.
- Knowledge of Abuja open markets and existing relationships with foodstuff distributors will be an added advantage.
