Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Creating awareness of the products and services offered by the company.
  • Collaborating with marketing, advertising, product design, and product development team members to plan and execute on-field promotional marketing campaigns.
  • Support the business development officer in concluding business deals with customers.
  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print, etc.).
  • Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies.
  • Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote the success of activities and enhance the company’s presence.
  • Prepare content for the publication of marketing materials and oversee distribution.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
  • Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses.
  • Participating in exhibitions and conferences organized by the company. 
  • Handling complaints of the clients. 
  • Taking feedback from the clients.
  • Conducting market research on rival products.

Requirements:

  • B. Sc/BA or HND  in marketing, business administration, or relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a marketing officer or similar role for at least 3 years.
  • Solid knowledge of modern marketing techniques and principles.
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office. 
  • Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Creativity and commercial awareness.
  • A team player with a customer-oriented approach.
  • High-level communication and networking skills.
  • Understanding of commercial trends and marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • The ability to speak multiple languages is an added advantage.
