Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility for researching and developing sales strategies for assigned products and services.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
- Create and maintain strong relationships with client’s stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels.
- Understand the competitive landscape and market trends.
- Define and execute appropriate sales strategies; business development, marketing, technical, and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through cold calls, meetings and presentations.
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
- Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
- Negotiating contracts with customers and ensuring commerciality.
- Forming sales strategies to keep the company competitive and innovative.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Maintains a current understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
- Provides market information to management for sales budget development and strategic plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 – 10 years’ experience in selling top technologies in Nigeria.
- Excellent knowledge and deep experience in selling technologies across all sectors.
- Strong knowledge of direct selling to end customers.
- Good understanding of local Sales Processes.
- Knowledge of customer service and support processes.
- Robust client database
- Strong customer management skills
- Understanding the customer environment end to end
- Strong planning skills
- Excellent oral communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problem in the customer space
- Have sufficient technical knowledge of the industry
- Commercial business acumen
- Administratively competent
