Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to drive business growth for our Molecular Diagnostics and Pathology Laboratory. The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business, building strong relationships with healthcare providers, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote molecular diagnostics, pathology, and related laboratory services.
- Identify and target new business opportunities across hospitals, clinics, HMOs, corporate organizations, and individual healthcare providers.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, pathologists, healthcare administrators, and referral partners.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed set sales goals.
- Educate and train healthcare providers on the laboratory’s test offerings, including genetic testing, oncology panels, infectious disease testing, histopathology, and other specialized diagnostics.
- Collaborate with the business development team to create promotional campaigns and organize scientific seminars, workshops, and customer engagement events.
- Negotiate and close service contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging diagnostic technologies to keep the lab competitive.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, pipeline, and market opportunities to management.
- Ensure compliance with ethical sales practices and healthcare regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences Medical Laboratory Science Biochemistry Microbiology or a related field (an MBA or advanced degree is an advantage).
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the healthcare sector with at least 2 years in diagnostics, pathology, or molecular testing.
- Strong knowledge of molecular diagnostics, histopathology, clinical laboratory operations, and healthcare referral networks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a laboratory or healthcare services environment.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and healthcare partners.
