Job summary

The Sales Lead will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading the sales team, and ensuring revenue targets are met across Medbuddy's products. This role requires a highly commercial and execution-focused leader who can build scalable sales processes, improve conversion rates across the funnel and develop high-performing sales team.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth: 

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase student enrollment.
  • Identify and expand new market opportunities for Medbuddy’s courses. 
  • Set and track monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. 
  • Own and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for the business.


Team Leadership & Sales Performance Management: 

  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets. 
  • Conduct regular sales training sessions to improve team performance. 
  • Monitor sales pipeline, conversion rates, and follow-up efficiency. 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to improve lead conversion, enrollment rates, and revenue generation.
  • Monitor and optimize the entire sales funnel, from inquiry to enrollment and payment completion.
  • Track and improve key sales metrics including conversion rates, sales cycle length, average revenue per student, and customer acquisition cost.


Lead Conversion & Customer Acquisition: 

  • Ensure effective follow-up and conversion of leads into paying customers. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to ensure sufficient lead volume and lead quality to support revenue objectives.


Customer Relationship Management & Retention: 

  • Maintain strong relationships with students, corporate clients, and industry partners.
  • Oversee the use of CRM tools to manage leads and track customer interactions. 


Sales Analytics & Reporting: 

  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. 
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to senior management. 
  • Adjust strategies based on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or revenue operations.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing and leading sales teams.
  • Experienced in EdTech, Healthcare, Training, Education, or Service-based businesses.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales funnel management and CRM systems.
  • Experienced with CRM tools such as GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, and similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Leadership and team management.
  • Revenue ownership and commercial acumen.
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-solving and execution excellence.
  • High level of accountability and ownership.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional working skills.

  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual revenue achievement.
  • Enrollment conversion rate.
  • Lead-to-enrollment conversion rate.

  • Team target attainment rate.
  • Customer satisfaction and onboarding completion rates.
