Agribusiness Solutions Provider connecting farms directly to businesses that need consistent access to quality agro-produce. They are looking for a field-driven, relationship-focused Sales Executive who is comfortable being on the ground, speaking directly with decision-makers, and locking in recurring business.
As the company's sales executive, you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, building strong client relationships, closing deals, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. You will also play a key role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth for the company.
Who We Are Looking For...
- You are comfortable being on the ground, speaking directly with decision makers, and locking in recurring business.
- You enjoy meeting customers face-to-face, thinking on your feet, and building trust that turns into repeat orders.
- You understand that sales doesn't end at onboarding, it continues through follow-ups, payment management, and long-term account care.
Your Responsibilities...
- You will prospect and onboard new B2B clients, primarily restaurants and food businesses.
- You will manage and grow accounts previously acquired by other sales executives.
- You will visit potential clients, meet decision-makers like restaurant owners, procurement managers, and agree on pricing and delivery timelines.
- You will conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand client needs.
- You will present and demonstrate the company's products and services to prospective clients.
- You will negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- You will maintain accurate sales records, prepare sales reports, and update CRM systems regularly.
- You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- You will attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility.
- You will provide feedback to management regarding customer needs, market trends, and product improvements.
What Success Looks Like...
- Successfully onboarding high-quality B2B clients with recurring order volume.
- Locking in customers that generate consistent demand.
- Achieving a recurring supply benchmark such as 1,000 tubers of yams bi-weekly across your accounts.
- Building trust-based relationships where clients reorder directly through you.
- Managing payments effectively and keeping client accounts healthy.
- Becoming known internally as someone who can open doors, close deals, and sustain volume.
To Be Considered for This Role, You Should Have...
- 2â3 years of experience in sales, business development, or field sales, preferably within agribusiness, FMCG, or a related sector.
- Experience selling to B2B clients (restaurants, retailers, distributors, or similar).
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Ability to assess customer demand and manage ongoing client accounts.
- Comfort with on-field sales and regular client visits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- A results-driven mindset with the discipline to follow up on orders and payments.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territories when necessary
Challenges You May Face...
- Balancing time between prospecting, follow-ups, and account management.
- Managing payment timelines while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Building trust in competitive B2B environments.
- Handling quality-related concerns professionally without damaging relationships.
- Delivering consistent volume, not just one-time sales.
What We Offer...
- Quarterly commission/performance incentives (paid separately from base pay).
- A flexible hybrid work structure.
- Opportunity to work with high-volume B2B clients.
- Clear sales process with strong operational support.
- Growth opportunities within a fast-scaling agribusiness.
