Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: ₦120,000 – ₦160,000 Monthly
  • Weekly Transport Allowance: ₦10,000 – ₦25,000 (Paid Every Friday)
  • Commission: Attractive performance-based commission tied to sales volume and deal closures

Job Overview
We are seeking a smart, aggressive, and results-driven Sales Executive with strong marketing capabilities and proven sales acumen to drive business growth within the construction and building materials industry.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who understands structured marketing, field sales execution, client acquisition, and relationship management within the construction ecosystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building strategic relationships, increasing market penetration, and converting opportunities into revenue.
The ideal candidate must possess strong business development skills, the ability to identify market opportunities, and a deep understanding of how to position and sell construction and finishing products effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities across the construction and real estate sectors.
  • Drive sales growth through aggressive market penetration and strategic client engagement.
  • Promote and sell construction and finishing products including waterproofing solutions, kitchen fittings, sanitary wares, bathroom fixtures, and related materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, developers, consultants, and procurement managers.
  • Conduct regular field visits, site inspections, and client meetings to generate and close sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and close high-value B2B transactions.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

2. Structured Marketing & Brand Visibility

  • Execute structured marketing initiatives to improve product awareness and market positioning.
  • Support promotional campaigns, activation projects, and market expansion strategies.
  • Identify target markets and develop tactical approaches for customer acquisition.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with management on go-to-market strategies and sales campaigns.
  • Represent the company professionally at industry meetings, networking events, and project sites.

3. Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification

  • Track upcoming construction projects, tenders, and bidding opportunities.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide insights on pricing, competition, and customer demand.
  • Identify partnership and channel development opportunities within the industry.
  • Support expansion into new territories and customer segments.

4. Reporting & Sales Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress.
  • Submit daily field activity reports and weekly sales performance updates.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and pending transactions.
  • Utilize CRM tools and structured reporting systems effectively.

Work Structure
Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

  • Field marketing and sales activities
  • Client meetings and project site visits
  • Business development and relationship management
  • Product presentations and deal negotiations

Saturday (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

  • Sales strategy sessions
  • Reporting and pipeline reviews
  • Team meetings and performance alignment

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in sales and marketing within the construction or building materials industry.
  • Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to close high-value deals.
  • Experience in structured marketing, field sales, and B2B client acquisition.
  • Strong network within Nigeria's construction, engineering, and real estate sectors is highly desirable.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
  • Must be proactive, disciplined, and highly performance-oriented.
