As a Sales Executive at Scale Baay, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, building strong relationships, and driving sales growth. You will play a crucial role in promoting our marketing services and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your goal will be to understand client needs and present effective marketing solutions

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition:

  • Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and online research.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of new business opportunities
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends

Sales Presentations:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Articulate the benefits and value of Scale Baay’s marketing services.
  • Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and goals of each client.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.


Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create tailored marketing proposals and packages.
  • Continuously analyze sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.


Negotiation and Closing:

  • Negotiate terms and agreements with clients to secure contracts.
  • Close sales deals and ensure proper documentation and contract management.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure successful onboarding and satisfaction with services.


Reporting and Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a similar sales role.
  • Strong understanding of direct marketing principles and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the marketing industry in Nigeria is a plus.
