Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & Sales.
- Prepare proposals and promotional materials for the exhibition.
- Client Relations management
- Contribute to marketing efforts, including social media promotion and email campaigns.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform future exhibitions and sales strategies.
- Selling exhibition stands and sponsorships, particularly for B2B events, with a focus on relationship-building and revenue growth
- Creative proposal development and market trend awareness remain central, alongside relationship cultivation with exhibitors and sponsors.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, whether for exhibition stands, sponsorship packages, or touring exhibitions.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new leads, including developing new accounts and nurturing existing client relationships.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with exhibitors, or sponsors.
- Manage exhibitor clients at events, including handling pre-show bookings, on-site coordination, and post-event rebooking.
- Deliver sales presentations and craft compelling proposals to effectively communicate value and close opportunities.
- Work alongside marketing teams to integrate sponsorship opportunities and maximize exposure for clients.
- Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify growth areas to inform sales strategies.
- Attend industry events and conferences to expand networks, gain insights, and promote the company.
- Coordinate with production or operations teams to ensure client contracts align with exhibition floor plans and logistical considerations.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline status, and client data using CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Offer input on exhibition design, service improvements, and product or concept development.
- Seamless coordination between marketing, production, and client management, ensuring consistency from contract to booth layout.
- Stay updated through professional development, workshops, publications, and networking.
- Exhibition Support & Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, including sales documentation and provenance details.
- Ensure the exhibition space is organized, clean, and visually appealing to enhance visitor experience.
- Event Coordination & External Representation
- Any other duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing trade shows or similar events.
- Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Ability to travel occasionally and work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Proven track record of successfully managing budgets and achieving event objectives.
