Job summary
We are recruiting for a Sales Assistant to join a growing pharmacy in Ogba, Lagos. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, trustworthy, and customer-friendly. You will be responsible for handling checkout operations, processing payments accurately, and ensuring customers have a smooth experience at the pharmacy.

Responsibilities:
Till & Payment Operations:
- Operate the POS system accurately
- Process customer payments (cash, transfers, POS)
- Issue receipts and ensure correct billing
- Balance cash and transactions at the end of each shift
Customer Service:
- Welcome customers politely and professionally
- Manage queues efficiently to reduce waiting time
- Direct medication or product inquiries to the pharmacist when necessary
- Record & Transaction Accuracy
- Ensure correct pricing and quantities during checkout
- Report pricing or system issues promptly
- Support basic stock reconciliation when required
- Maintain accurate transaction records.
Compliance & Organization:
- Follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of customer transactions
- Keep the checkout and front desk area neat and organized.
Requirements:
- A minimum of OND qualification
- Good numeracy and cash-handling skills
- Strong attention to detail and integrity
Good communication and customer service skills - Previous cashier or retail experience is an advantage
- Candidates living around Ogba, Agege, or Ikeja and surrounding areas are strongly preferred.
