Job summary

Our client, seeking a results-driven and highly organized Sales Officer (Branch Operations Lead) to oversee the sales performance and day-to-day operations of one of our Lagos branches (Ikeja and Victoria Island). This role is ideal for a proactive leader with strong commercial acumen, capable of driving revenue growth, managing branch operations.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Performance

  • Drive branch sales performance to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and improve customer retention
  • Monitor sales trends and prepare performance reports with actionable insights
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and improved market penetration


Operations Management

  • Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and service excellence
  • Manage inventory levels, stock movement, and replenishment to ensure optimal availability
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards


Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise, coach, and motivate branch staff to achieve performance targets
  • Coordinate staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and on-the-job training
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-focused, and collaborative work culture


Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare regular sales, inventory, and operational reports for management review
  • Liaise with supply chain, warehouse, and head office teams for seamless operations
  • Identify operational gaps and implement practical solutions proactively


Customer Experience & Compliance

  • Ensure consistently high standards of customer service across all touchpoints
  • Handle escalated customer issues professionally and effectively
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards


Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Management, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in retail, sales management, or operations (experience in fitness, wellness, or lifestyle retail is an advantage)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to deliver sales targets and manage branch operations effectively
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic business reporting tools
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
