Revenue Officer
Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Revenue Officer to support accurate billing, revenue collection, and financial operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient patient billing processes and maintain financial integrity across all transactions.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Process patient billing, payment transactions, and revenue collection using the company’s ERP system
- Operate POS machines, cash registers, and related payment platforms efficiently
- Reconcile daily collections and prepare accurate financial and revenue reports
- Ensure proper pricing, invoicing, and issuance of receipts for all transactions
- Verify and capture accurate patient/customer information before transaction processing
- Maintain records of receivables from NHIA, HMOs, corporate clients, and other healthcare partners
- Attend to patient and customer inquiries, complaints, and refund requests professionally
- Identify, investigate, and report discrepancies or irregularities in financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and healthcare billing procedures
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and finance teams to ensure smooth revenue operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or revenue management role
- Prior experience in healthcare, hospital, HMO, or clinical billing operations is an added advantage
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, ERP systems, or similar tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing
- Good organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations is an added advantage
Remuneration: NGN 200,000 Net Monthly
